Background

GLUE initiative was born from the inconsistency issue with the design across departments and platforms.


One example was; the green button that is supposed to be the CTA in the iOS and Android app must be consistent with the Web App and the marketing banner.


From there, we pitch the idea to the marketing team and the senior management to assign a task force to work on the GLUE team.


In the beginning, we started to have a bi-weekly sync-up with designers across the country (Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand)

We, from the product team, took the first initiative; we started creating guidelines and some simple UX flow of the web banner.


The goal is to let the marketing designer know what happens after the user clicks the banner and what we need to address in the flag to ensure it is consistent with the whole UIs.


The results were terrific.


First, they needed to figure out what happens after the user clicked the banner, and then we started to provide a template for the marketing team to use in the future.
